「Paquepaque (パクパク)」は組み立て式のベンチ。

１–２人で、簡単に組み立てられるようば構造になっている。

 

部品はアルミニウム・シートから切り出したもの。

薄く、軽く、パーツそのものでは強度を持たないが、

曲げることでそれぞれの部品に強度が生まれ、全てのパーツを組み合わせることで、構造物として力を持つ。

このベンチはダイニング・チェア「Cyclops (サイクロップス)」や、テーブル「Papier（パピエ）」のシリーズで、輸送や保管に適するよう、小さなパッケージにまとめられるようデザインしたものである。

 

紙を切ったり折ったりする過程から生まれた、シンプルで

ユニークな形状が特徴である。

 

“Paquepaque” is a flatpacked bench.

This can be easily assembled by one or two people.

All parts are made of aluminum sheets. They are thin and light, but given strength by bending, and assembling all parts.

 

This bench is designed as a series of dining chair “Cyclops”, and dining table “Papier”. They share the same concept; compactly packable for delivery and storage.

 

As paper-craft, the unique appearance will be given by the simple processes, folding, bending, and assemling each parts.
